Matt Harman was named Senior Associate Athletic Director/Chief Revenue and Business Intelligence Officer at Coastal Carolina University in October of 2024.
Before arriving in Conway, Harman served as the Senior Account Executive for Virginia Tech Sports Properties.
Harman spent two years at his alma mater, Radford University, as the Assistant Athletic Director for Business Development. Prior to Radford, Harman served as Manager of Data & Analytics for Learfield at Virginia Tech, where he developed and managed date studies, data warehouse and visualization platforms, CRM, and business intelligence tools for Virginia Tech Athletics.
Harman also served as an Associate General Manager at the University of Iowa and as a Senior Account Executive at West Virginia University, both within the Learfield family. He worked with select contracted partners, overseeing sale planning and day-to-day sales team operations at both schools, and generated more than $3 million in new ticket revenue for the Mountaineers.
Harman earned a masters of science in Sport Management from West Virginia in 2015. He was a two-year captain for Radford’s golf team, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in the spring of 2014.
