Robert Stockhausen joined Coastal Carolina in 2026 as the inaugural General Manager of the CCU x Playfly partnership. This marks his 29th season in sports sponsorships, with previous stops at UTSA, the San Antonio Spurs, Clemson, Fresno State, Wisconsin, NC State, and the Myrtle Beach Pelicans, where he spent three seasons from 2000-03. Robert has spent most of his adult life in South Carolina.
Robert and his team are committed to creating engaging game-day and broadcast experiences for Chanticleer fans through innovative sponsor activations, interactive promotions, and opportunities to compete for prizes and earn discounts from partner businesses. Every sponsorship is designed to enhance the fan experience—whether at the game, during broadcasts, on social media, or through the CCU Athletics app. Together, these efforts serve fans, students, the University, and corporate partners. Simply put, when everyone works together, everyone wearing teal wins.
Robert graduated from Clemson University in 1994 with a bachelor's degree in Marketing. A native of Wisconsin, he has been happily married to his wife, Kristen, for 28 years. They have two children, Matt (22) and Sydney (14).
