Seth Andres

Seth Andres joins Coastal’s Track & Field program after spending the past three seasons coaching at two Division I institutions in the Southland Conference. He spent two years at Nicholls State University overseeing sprints, jumps, throws, and multis, followed by a year at McNeese State University, where he led all jump and multi-event disciplines.

In his first season in 2025-26, the Chants claimed one Sun Belt individual title, with Latiana Acker winning the indoor winning the indoor 400m championship. Acker later took home the Sun Belt Elite Award and All-Sun Belt first team honors, while Callie Wilson and Emelia Thurston were named to the second team with Maya Studney claiming third team honors for the indoor season. Overall, Coastal placed third in the women's indoor Sun Belt Championship.

For the outdoor season, Annaka Forsberg claimed the bronze medal at the Sun Belt Championship with a third-place finish in the high jump and took home All-Sun Belt third team honors. 

Andres graduated from Washington State University in 2021, competing as a decathlete for the Cougars. Prior to his time at WSU, he was a three-time Junior College All-American at Lane Community College in 2017.
