Veronika Roberts enters her first season as the Director of Women’s Basketball Operations for the Coastal Carolina University women’s basketball program in 2026.
Roberts brings a strong background in basketball operations, recruiting coordination, and student-athlete development. Prior to Coastal Carolina, she spent the past two seasons as the Women’s Basketball Graduate Assistant Coach at Columbus State University, where she began her coaching career. She worked as the post coach and oversaw academics, managers, and practice players while assisting with day-to-day program operations, recruiting efforts, travel coordination, creative content, and community engagement initiatives.
During her two seasons on staff, Columbus State compiled a 46-14 overall record, including a 21-9 mark and NCAA Tournament appearance in 2024-25. The Cougars followed with a 25-5 record in 2025-26, capturing the Peach Belt Conference Regular Season Championship and earning a second consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. Defensively, Columbus State ranked among the nation's leaders in forced turnovers per game during both seasons, finishing in the top five nationally each year. Roberts also helped coach the 2024-25 Peach Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Year and the 2025-26 Peach Belt Conference Player of the Year.
A former student-athlete, Roberts competed collegiately at Bradley University and the University of West Florida. Her experiences as both a player and staff member have helped shape her passion for supporting student-athletes and building successful programs on and off the court.
Roberts earned her Master of Science in Organizational Leadership with a concentration in Human Resources Management in 2025 and her Bachelor of Science in Public Health Education in 2023.
