Bryan Stiles is in his 16th year with Coastal Carolina Athletics and currently serves as Associate Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations. Since joining the Chanticleer athletics department in 2010, he has established himself as one of the department's key leaders in athletic operations, championship event management, and facility development.
In his current role, Stiles oversees the scheduling and daily operations of all Coastal Carolina athletic facilities, managing practices, competitions, external events, and summer camps for the University's 19 NCAA Division I programs. He directs the Athletic Grounds and Digital Technology departments, manages an operations budget exceeding $1 million, and serves as the University's primary liaison for the Myrtle Beach Bowl.
Stiles also serves as the Sport Administrator for Baseball, Men's Golf, and Women's Golf, providing administrative oversight while working closely with coaches to enhance the student-athlete experience and support competitive success.
A leader in collegiate event management, Stiles has directed and coordinated some of the nation's premier championship events. He has served as Tournament Director for four NCAA Baseball Regionals (2018, 2020, 2023, and 2025). His championship leadership also includes NCAA Men's Soccer Championships, NCAA FCS Football Playoffs, the Sun Belt Men's Soccer Championship, NCAA Men's Golf Regional at TPC Myrtle Beach, ACC Women's Basketball Tournament, Big South Conference Championships, and numerous postseason basketball tournaments.
Throughout his career, Stiles has played a significant role in the planning and execution of major athletic facility enhancements, including the University's indoor practice facility, turf practice field, Brooks Stadium suite renovations, the Coastal Carolina Soccer Complex, Springs Brooks Stadium field replacement, and the intramural/track and field complex.
Since arriving at Coastal Carolina, Stiles has progressed through multiple leadership positions, serving as Event Operations Assistant (2010-11), Assistant Athletic Events Coordinator (2011-13), Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Operations (2013-24), and Associate Athletic Director beginning in November 2024.
Stiles earned a bachelor's degree in marketing from Coastal Carolina University in 2008. A native of New City, N.Y., he and his wife, Katie, reside in Myrtle Beach with their two sons, Carter and Corbin.
