After a sloppy win last weekend Coastal wanted to come out strong and show UNC Asheville who was in charge. It only took a few minutes to get the message across. Coastal controlled the match from start to finish and kept Asheville from ever getting into stride. On defense Coastal did a fine job of digging and blocking. On offense Pawlyk (.455 hitting %), Croteau (.360 hitting %), Bambenek (.359 hitting %), and Prowse lead Coastal to victory. Amy Bambenek had 17 kills and 2 aces. Roberta Croteau had 10 kills, 3 aces, 2 blocks, and 20 digs. Colette Pawlyk had 5 kills and 32 assists. Emma Prowse had 9 kills and 4 blocks. Alicia Pulchinski had 3 aces and 5 digs. Autumn Staub, Wendy Kutz, Michelle Shepherd, Nicole Burns, and Amy O'Neil also played during the match. " It was nice to go into another teams gym and dominate the match after struggling with them at home last week.", Coach Lee.
