LYNCHBURG, Va. — The Lady Flames volleyball team hosted the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers and handily defeated them 3-1, recording games scores of 30-18, 30-22, 31-33 and 30-28.

Rachel Harnack (Sr., Ortonville, Mich.) led the team's offense recording 24 kills, three block assists and 10 digs, while Jennifer Belk (Fr., Leander, Texas) added 18 kills, 13 digs and three block assists. Summer Elmquist (Sr., Ft. Myers, Fla.) tallied 17 kills and 13 digs, while Michelle Howland (Sr., El Cajon, Calif.) added 66 assists and 14 digs. Jennifer Graham (Sr., Ft. Myers, Fla.) led the defense with 24 digs, followed by Erin McKeown (So., Glendale, Ariz.) who tallied 20 digs for the match.

The Lady Chanticleers were led by Katie Knutson (Jr., Ontario, Canada) who recorded 20 kills, four block assists and a .352 hitting percentage. Sarah Bennett (So., Eagan, Minn.) added 10 kills, three block assists and 12 digs, followed by Elizabeth Laubenthal (Sr., Fairhope, Ala.) who tallied 16 digs and two service aces for the match.
