RADFORD, Va. — Radford University picked up their 10th straight victory with a
3-0 victory over Coastal Carolina Sunday afternoon at the Dedmon Center. The victory for the Highlanders was their 14 consecutive league victory and their 37th league win in their last 39 matches dating back to 1998. Game scores for the Highlanders, 30-18, 30-28, 30-24.

Leading the way for the Highlanders was senior Katie Sherwood who led four Highlanders in double-figures with 21 kills. Sarah Gates (13 kills), Melissa Morgan (11) and Nicole Boyd (10) each helped pace the RU attack. On the defensive end Laura Marcuson tallied a game high 19 digs. Boyd added 10 digs, while setter Bliss Mulligan chipped in with 10 digs and 52 assists.

Katie Knutson led the Coastal offense with 12 kills. Carly Draudt paced the Chants defense with 14 digs and Sarah Bennett added 13 in a losing effort.
