HIGH POINT, N.C. — Coastal Carolina University's Lady Chanticleers rallied from a 1-0 deficit to defeat High Point University 3-1 in a Big South Conference volleyball match Friday night in the Millis Center. Coastal evens its record at 1-1 in Big South play and improves to 3-9 overall, while the Panthers fall to 2-15 and 0-4.

Junior Katie Knutson paced the Lady Chants with 17 kills, while sophomore Sarah Bennett added 13. Freshman setter Sarah Besemer posted 50 assists. Senior defensive specialist Liz Laubenthal led the defensive charge with 21 digs.

Tracyann Pryce led High Point with 17 kills, while Kimberly Wright recorded 46 assists.

Coastal Carolina will play at Elon University at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday in another Big South Conference battle.
