CONWAY, S.C.-- The Coastal Carolina (17-8, 8-1 Big South) volleyball team defeated Radford, 3-0 (30-27, 30-21, 30-20), in Big South Conference Volleyball action, Friday evening in Kimbel Arena.

The Lady Chanticleers had three players collect double-digits in kills, led by senior Katie Knutson who had a match high 16. Jeanne Lambert and Carly Draudt recorded 12 and 11 respectively. Draudt and Lambert also posted double figures in digs with 10 each. Freshman Jennifer Hampton, recorded a double-double in assist and digs, recorded 47 assists and 10 digs.

Leading the way for Radford, (7-21, 3-8 Big South) was Divona Cox who had 12 kills. Bliss Mulligan, Heather St. Clair and Karri Attinger led the Highlanders defensively with nine digs each.

The Lady Chants will return to Kimbel Arena tomorrow for its final regular season home match of the 2002 season against Liberty at 2 p.m., while Radford travels to Charleston Southern for a match at 2 p.m. at CSU Fieldhouse.
