Womens Golf Finishes 10th at Pinehurst Challenge

PINEHURST, NC – Coastal Carolina’s women’s golf squad finished 10th in the 2005 Pinehurst Challenge, Mar. 6-8 on Pinehurst #8. The Lady Chanticleers posted a 54-hole total of 960 in the event, finishing 42 shots behind champion Washington State. CCU finished just nine shots out of fifth, as the spots from five to 11 were separated by just 10 shots. Coastal was led by senior Line Cordes, as she tied for 10th with a three-round score of 234. Lindsey Letzig finished one shot behind at 235, tying for 12th. CCU will be back in action Mon.-Tue., Mar. 14-15 at the Waterlefe Invitational in Bradenton, FL.
