Chapel Hill, N.C. - Coastal Carolina's volleyball team fell in four games to the University of North Carolina. Game scores for the Lady Chanticleers were 28-30, 31-29, 15-30, and 25-30.
CCU was highlighted by
Katherine Jensen-Spencer's (Vancouver, BC/Sentinel Secondary/Ole Miss) 13 kills and 15 digs.
Laura Obert (Cincinnati, Ohio/Mother of Mercy) and
Devon West (Ontario, Canada/Lockerby Composite School/ Cambrian College of Applied Arts and Tech) also added seven kills for CCU.
The Tar Heels of North Carolina had a .831 hiting percentage, while CCU had a .137. The Tar Heels were led by Bekah Brinkley who tallied 18 kills and six digs.
CCU will now face Purdue in Chapel Hill Saturday night at 5:00 p.m.
