That hasn’t been done by a Chanticleer team since April 17-May 6, 2001, when CCU had won 11 straight. The 23-3 start is Coastal’s best since the 1983 team went 25-3-1 to open the campaign.
CHANTS START BIG SOUTH SCHEDULE WITH SERIES WIN: Coastal opened the Big South schedule with a three-game sweep of Radford March 23-25. Coastal has won 20 out of the last 23 series against Big South foes. Coastal won all eight series during the 2005 season.
