QUOTES
Winthrop Head Coach Sally Polhamus
"We did a good job of mixing the depths of our serves, and our passers adjusted to their serves. Viola played a complete game from the service line, to her hitting and blocking. Coastal Carolina had good coverage, they dug some tough balls. I'm proud of our team for advancing.
Coastal Carolina Head Coach Kristin Bauer
"I'd like to applaud the Winthrop middles for finding a way to get the job done. We worked very hard to get them out of their system so they would have to go to their outsides. They were persistent in delivering the ball in the middle of the court."
