CONWAY- The Coastal Carolina women's basketball team will host the Coker Cobras on Sunday, Nov. 28 at 2 p.m. The game is the second in a two game home stand for the Chants after defeating Campbell 58-52 on Tuesday, Nov. 23.

Notes: The Chants have never lost to the Coker Cobras. The two teams first met in game three of Coastal's inaugural season of 1974-75. Last season Costal Carolina tamed the Cobras by a final score of 81-46. Olivia Irick led all scorers in the contest with 16 points. Irick was one of three Chants in double figures on the day as Sydnei Moss scored 14 and Amanda Stull had 13.
Coker Cobras
Coker enters the game with three player averaging double digit scoring efforts; Jasmine Alston (10.8), Megan Thomas (10.3), and Lucy Fish (10.0). The Cobras are 0-4 on the season having lost three of its games by 20 points or more. Coker has knocked down 18 three pointers on the season with Lucy Fish being responsible for 10 of treys. Coker is shooting 33.5 percent from the floor and 73.5 percent from the charity stripe this season.

Setting the Bar
Coastal Carolina's victory over Campbell featured several season-highs and a career-high marks established. Senior center Katie White establish a new career high in blocks as she rejected eight Campbell attempts on the night. The eight blocks moves her career total to 156. White also finished a perfect 4-of-4 from the field as she scored ten points, her most since dropping 11 against UNC Asheville on Feb. 8 of last season. Sydnei Moss also finished with her second double-double of the season as she led all scorers with 17 points and tied for a game-high 11 rebounds. Olivia Irick also set a new season-high mark with her 12 points as half came from behind the three point line.
The Chanticleers shot a season high 39.2 percent from the field and 40 percent from beyond the arc. The Chants finished with 36 rebounds on the night to continue the season long streak of pulling down at least 35 boards per game. In addition, the Chanticleers shot 14-of-18 from the free throw line for a season best 77.8 percent.
Three in Double Figures
Coastal had three figures in double figures for the first time this season as Sydnei Moss, Katie White, and Olivia Irick each reached the mark against Campbell. It was the first time the Chants had players in three players score at least ten in a game since March 5, 2010 against Gardner-Webb when Moss, Devin Rivers and Amanda Stull each reached the double digit platform.
Record Watch
Katie White's 156 career blocks (14 this season) now rank her eighth all-time in the Big South Conference career record books. She needs 27 more blocks to take over Charleston Southern's Shaunte Small for seventh place at 182 career blocks.
Sydnei Moss has scored 60 points this season to make her the tenth most prolific scorer in Coastal Carolina history. Her 1057 points is 123 behind Janice Dewitt for ninth place on the Coastal Carolina all-time list.
Good Bye Kimbel
The 2010-2011 season marks the final season the Coastal Carolina basketball will call Kimbel Arena home as the programs will move into the new Convocation Center next fall. The 1,039 seat Kimbel Arena has been the home of the Chanticleers since 1972. The Convocation Center will seat more than 3,600 fans for basketball and volleyball and more than 4,000 for graduation and other special events. It will also house offices and locker rooms for the men's and women's basketball and volleyball programs.
