Coastal Cheerleaders Successful at NCA College Camp

CONWAY - Members of the 2011-2012 Coastal Carolina cheerleading team attended the National Cheerleaders Association (NCA) college camp August 12th - 14th in Myrtle Beach, S.C. at the Springmaid Resort.
The Chanticleers placed second in their division for game day and fourth in their division for their rally day routine.
Coastal Carolina had four members of the team eligible to compete for NCA All-American and ten team members competed in the Top Gun Stunt competition. The Chanticleers received a Sliver Bid to compete at the NCA collegiate cheerleading national championships.
Chauncey, the Coastal Carolina mascot, also attended camp and received the "Most Improved" mascot award.
