2012 Winter ID Camp Registration Forms ![]()
CONWAY - Registration for the inaugural Coastal Carolina men's soccer Winter Identification Camp is now open. The camp, which runs from Dec. 15-16, is designed to provide high school aged players who are looking to play collegiately an opportunity to be trained and evaluated by the Chanticleer head coach Shaun Docking and his staff in a high-intensity training environment.
The focus of the training sessions will focus on developing the players' tactical and technical part of the game through workouts centered on the speed of play, combination play, high pressure and the smaller game within the 11 v 11 game. While learning through play, the coaching staff will instruct the aspiring student-athletes on how to recognize the differences and overcome the challenges of transitioning from club/high school soccer to the collegiate level.
The camp is open to boys from grades 9-12, including goal keepers. The price of the two-day camp is $150, which includes four training sessions, a tour of the Coastal Carolina campus, opportunities to sit in on a college class lecture and a question and answer session with current CCU players and coaching staff.
