Final Stats

WINTER HAVEN, Fla. - Women's tennis won its first match played away from Conway this year with a 5-2 decision against Quinnipiac University Monday afternoon at the Winter Park Tennis Center.

After dropping the doubles point, Coastal (8-1) won the next four matches to win its eighth match of the year. Maria Hesketh and Katie Fosnacht blanked their opponents 6-0, 6-0 to give Coastal a 2-1 lead with four singles matches remaining.

Kourtney Kowal defeated Arianna Launie in straight sets (6-1, 6-4) followed by Mikaela Kristofersson winning 6-2, 6-2 to clinch the match. Miki Bunea earned the fifth point while Jacqueline Raynor earned the Bobcats' lone singles point.

Coastal will play another neutral match on Tuesday, March 13 at 11:30 a.m. at the Winter Park Tennis Center.
