
Chants Host Longwood in Big South Quarterfinal Tuesday

CONWAY - The second-seeded Coastal Carolina men's soccer team begins its march to the 2014 Big South Tournament championship hosting seventh-seeded Longwood in a quarterfinal round match Tuesday at 6 p.m. at the CCU Soccer Stadium.
As an official Big South Conference postseason event, there will be an admission charge. Tickets are $5 for general admission, $4 for Coastal Carolina faculty/staff and $3 for youth (age 18 and under). However, Coastal Carolina students will be admitted free of charge with a valid CCU photo ID. All tickets will be sold out of Brooks Stadium's south ticket booth beginning at 5 p.m. on Tuesday. Gates will also open at 5 p.m.

Coastal vs. Longwood
• Coastal and Longwood met in the regular season finale on Nov. 8 with the Chanticleers cruising to a 7-0 victory.
• Garbanzo scored a first-half hat trick and Tommy Gudmundsson, Kevin Le Bras, Louis Dargent and Bryce Follensbee added second half goals.
• Coastal and Longwood have met three times since the Lancers joined the league in 2012. Coastal has won all three games by an aggregate score of 15-0.
Seeking Tournament Title No. 12
• The Chanticleer program enters the 2014 Big South Tournament in search of its 12th tournament championship.
• Coastal's 11 current titles are a Big South record. Winthrop owns the second most titles with four.
