The Chants fared better in the second set, at one point owning a slim 18-16 lead. The lead would not last long however as four consecutive kills put NC State ahead 20-18. The Wolfpack then capitalized on an ace, two kills and two Coastal errors to close out the set.
Coastal fell behind early in the third set, surrendering 10 of the game's first 15 points, and never managed to recover. Hardeman and Milovanovic each had four kills, and Legros had two blocks, but the Chants could not hold on as NC State closed out the set, and match, 25-17.
Coastal will look to rebound from Friday's loss as it continues play at The Courtyard Midtown Invitational.
