The women placed 17th overall out of 33 teams while the men did not place because only three of its runners competed. Senior Letitia Saayman captured the NCAA Southeast Regional Title which is the first time in school history.

"I am so proud of Letitia's victory today," said head coach Jeff Jacobs. "It is such a blessing to work with an athlete who is so highly motivated. She beat some of the top cross country runners in NCAA today. You could tell how determined she was during the race there was no way she was going to let anyone beat her. (Runner-up) Ednah Kurgat from Liberty was still with her 300 meters to go but Letitia put in a final kick that Kurgat just couldn't match."
