Spartanburg, S.C. - The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team completed the first day of the Wofford Invite with a perfect 9-0 record in seven singles and two doubles matches. The remaining two Chanticleer doubles pairs received first-round byes, and will play their first matches on Saturday.
All singles flights ended after the first round of play on Friday, and will continue with semifinal action on Saturday.
"We had a great day today going undefeated in all draws," said assistant coach Emma Kidd Hall. "We are very proud of their efforts this fall and are looking forward to another tough day moving forward through the main draws tomorrow."
