CONWAY - The Coastal Carolina men's tennis team wrapped up its first tournament of the 2016 fall season on Sunday, finishing the CCU Battle at the Beach with an 8-4 record in singles and a 4-5 record in doubles.
"It was a grueling weekend for everyone with the head and humidity, but I think we soldiered through it pretty well," said Chanticleer coach Chris Powers. "I can't say enough about our guys commitment on the court and in the gym. We're by no means there yet, but the approach has been solid."
The Chants return to action next weekend for the Elon Invitational.
