CONWAY - For the first time this season, the Coastal Carolina men's tennis team has suffered consecutive losses as the Chanticleers (3-3) fell 6-1 to Campbell (6-1) Friday afternoon at the Stevens Tennis Complex.

Campbell took the match's first point in doubles, and won on all but the top singles court.

The Camels' second and third doubles pairings won their respective matches by 6-4 margins to claim the opening point for Campbell. The No. 1 doubles match went unfinished, with Vuk Velickovic/Luiz Faria locked in a 5-5 tie with Lorenz Schwab/Dustin Werner.

Velickovic earned Coastal's lone point in the match. The senior bested Luka Schaefer on the first singles court in straight sets, 6-2, 6-2.

Campbell owned the remaining five points, with courts 2-5 decided in straight sets.

Coastal returns to its home court on Sunday for its first-ever Sun Belt Conference match. Appalachian State comes to the Stevens Complex for an 11 a.m. match.
