Conway, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina football team will host its first home game at Brooks Stadium in over a month, as the Chanticleers will take on the ULM Warhawks on Saturday night, Oct. 13, at 6 p.m. ET/7 p.m. CT as part of Family Weekend at Coastal Carolina University.

Good To Be Back Home
• After three-straight road games and three weeks away from campus, literally, the Chants had a much needed bye week last week.
• CCU returns home this week for only the second time this season and for the first time since a 47-24 win over UAB on Sept. 8 to host ULM in a Sun Belt cross-divisional clash.
• CCU'S home game with Campbell was moved up from Saturday, Sept. 15, to Wednesday, Sept. 12, and was relocated to Buies Creek, N.C. and Barker-Lane Stadium.
• The Chants are 1-0 this season at Brooks Stadium and have won two-straight on the "Surf Turf" in front of its home crowd dating back to last season (vs. Georgia Southern on Dec. 2).
Sun Belt Conference Play
• Coastal Carolina is 1-1 in the Sun Belt this season having won its conference opener at Louisiana (30-28) on Sept. 22, before falling two weeks ago at Troy (45-21) on Sept. 29.
• After losing its first six Sun Belt games a year ago, CCU has won three of its last four conference games with wins over Idaho and Georgia Southern to close out the 2017 season and the conference-opening win at Louisiana on Sept. 22.
Seeing Red
• Coastal Carolina has been superb in the red zone this season, as the Chants have scored on 16-of-17 (.941) possessions inside the opponent's 20-yard line.
• With their 94.1 percent scoring percentage in the red zone this year, CCU ranks second in the Sun Belt behind only Louisiana (94.7) and 18th nationally.
Air Efficiency
• CCU's quarterbacks have been on point this season in terms of efficiency, completions and taking care of the ball.
• As a group, the Chant quarterbacks lead the conference and rank third in all of FBS nationally with a 72.8 pass completion percentage on the season.
• The CCU quarterbacks also rank second in the Sun Belt and seventh nationally in team passing efficiency with a mark of 184.51 and second in the Sun Belt and ninth nationally in interceptions thrown with just two picks on the season.
Moving The Chains
• The Chanticleers have recorded 123 first downs this season offensively, 12 more than their opponents have made this year.
• CCU is tied for first in the Sun Belt with 123 first down conversions on the season, even with this week's foe ULM.
Ground Attack
• Coastal's ground attack ranks third in the Sun Belt and 17th nationally with an average of 242.2 rushing yards per game.
• CCU has rushed for over 300 yards as a team in two games this season, both of which were wins on the road (333 yards at Campbell - Sept. 12 and 311 yards at Louisiana - Sept. 22).
• The running game has been spearheaded by a trio of Chants in
Marcus Outlow (429 yards),
CJ Marable (308 yards) and
Kilton Anderson (215 yards), who all rank in the top 10 in the Sun Belt in rushing.
• The trio has also combined for 12 rushing touchdowns on the season, out of 13 on the ground for CCU, led by Outlow's team-high six rushing scores which is third overall in the Sun Belt on the season.
Air Control
• The CCU defense has been strong in the back, as the Chants are allowing just 197.8 passing yards per game which ranks third in the Sun Belt and 38th overall.

Fitz Wattley leads a secondary with 28 tackles and a pass breakup.
• Corner back
Chandler Kryst has the lone two interceptions for the Chants' defense this season, while fellow corner
Preston Carey has 16 tackles and a forced fumble.
No Flags On Us
• CCU has been fundamentally sound all season long when it comes to penalties, as the Chants have committed just 22 penalties for 224 yards this season.
• With their 22 penalties, which is 20 less than their opponents' 42 infractions, the Chants rank second in the Sun Belt and 12th overall nationally in fewest penalties on the year.
• Their 22 penalties over five games averages out to just 4.40 per contest, which also ranks second in the Sun Belt and 13th nationally.
