Men's Soccer Trio Named United Soccer Coaches All-Southeast Region Team

USC All Southeast Region Team
CONWAY – Coastal Carolina's men's soccer team had three players named to the United Soccer Coaches (USC) Division I All-Southeast Regional Teams.
Senior Yazeed Matthews, the 2018 Sun Belt Offensive Player of the Year, has been named to the second team. Matthews was one of the top scorers in the Sun Belt finishing second in the conference in points (29), shots per game (3.67), points per game (1.93), goals (13), and goals per game (0.87). He was tied for fourth in assists (3) and fifth in assists per game (0.20). Matthews led the conference in game-winning goals with four.
Kervin Fadel, a defender, and forward Tsiki Ntsabeleng were both named to the third team.
Fadel is a multi-honored defender during his career with the Chants, and this is just the latest. He anchored a back line that helped the Chants record four shutouts during the season while earning First Team All-Sun Belt honors.
Ntsabeleng was the top newcomer in the Sun Belt this season and, like Matthews, was one of the top offensive players in the conference. He finished third in points (18), points per game (1.12) and goals (6). He also finished second in the conference in assists (6), assists per game (0.38) and tied for third in game-winning goals with three.
