CONWAY - The Coastal Carolina men's tennis team fell 6-1 to Elon on Monday at the Stevens Tennis Complex.

The Chanticleers fall to 6-9 as their season-long drought was extended to four matches.

Elon captured the doubles point on courts one and three before winning all but the fifth court in singles.

The Phoenix duo of Mario Paccini and Neal Port defeated Lawrence Perrin and Paul Boulay on the first court, 6-1. Elon finished off the doubles point on the third court, where Taylor Foote and Louis Rico won 6-4 over Zak Talic and Francesco Cori-Gamero.

Elon captured singles points on courts two, three and six in straight sets, while winning the first and fourth courts in three sets.

Perrin provided Coastal's lone point of the match, defeating Felipe Osses-Konig, 6-4, 7-6, at No. 5.

After four straight home matches, the Chants are away from their home court for the next three contests. Coastal begins its road swing at Winthrop on Friday with a 2:30 p.m. match.
