Men's Soccer Sweeps Weekly Conference Honors

CONWAY – The Coastal Carolina University men's soccer team swept the conference weekly player of the week honors released today by the Sun Belt Conference.
Tsiki Ntsabeleng has been named the Offensive Player of the Week in leading the Chants to a win and tie in their two games last week. He scored two goals and added an assist while leading CCU to a 4-2 upset road win at Sun Belt Conference-leading Appalachian State.
After missing the first four games of the season, Ntsabeleng now has three goals on the season and he has tallied two assists for eight points on the season
Senior goalkeeper Alberto Ciroi has been named the Defensive Player of the Week. He picked up his third shutout of the season earlier in the week at UNC Wilmington and followed that up with a nice defensive performance in the Chants' first conference win of the season over Appalachian State.
Ciroi picked up five saves in the two matches giving him 36 on the season. He is fourth in the Sun Belt in saves and his three shutouts ranks second in the conference. He also has a .679 save percentage. It was Ciroi's second conference defensive honor this season.
