Soccer's Ciroi Named Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Week

CONWAY – Coastal Carolina University men's soccer goalkeeper Alberto Ciroi has been named the Sun Belt Conference Defensive Player of the Week, it was released today by the Sun Belt Conference.
The senior goalkeeper picked up his fourth shutout of the season when the Chants defeated Howard 2-0 in an important Sun Belt Conference match. It is the third time this season Ciroi has picked up the weekly conference honor.
Ciroi is ranked among the top goalkeepers in the conference. His four shutouts are tied for second in the conference and his 1.14 goals against average is third. He has 38 saves on the season and he is tied for second in shutouts per game.
