Opening Tip
• CCU enters the game coming off a win over Georgia State, that had entered the game tied for the lead of the Sun Belt Conference.
• The win snapped a four game losing streak and brought the Chants back to a .500 overall record (13-13) and also in the conference (7-7).
• CCU is tied with both of its next two opponents for fifth place in the conference, all with 7-7 conference records.
• Even with a 7-7 record, the Chants are only three games out of first place with four games left to play.
• The Chants are fighting for one of the top six spots at the end of the regular season ... Those six teams will receive a first-round bye in the tournament and will go directly to New Orleans to begin conference tournament action.
• Zac Cuthbertson moves closer to his 1,000 career point ... He enters tonight's game with 932 points, needing only 68 to reach the milestone ... He scored 455 points last season, his first with CCU, and has already scored 477 this season.
