Women’s Tennis Defeats Lehigh, 4-1

CONWAY – The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team defeated Lehigh, 4-1, Monday afternoon in a home match at the Stevens Tennis Complex.
Coastal improves to 5-5 with the win.
The Chants started by sweeping the doubles point.
Jennifer Brown and Jessie Mount got a clean 6-0 sweep at No. 2. Viktorija Demcenkova and Somer Dalla-Bona clinched the point at No. 1, 6-2. Alexa Tiefel and Alicja Zduniak rounded out the doubles sweep with a 6-4 win at No. 3.
Dalla-Bona won the first singles point at No. 3. Demcenkova made it 3-0 with a win on the first court. Zduniak provided the match clincher at No. 5. All three were won in straight sets.
Coastal is back in action on Wednesday to open its Sun Belt schedule at home against Appalachian State. The match is slated for 10 a.m. at the Stevens Tennis Complex.
