Florida Relays Day 2 Results
Raleigh Relays
CONWAY – The Coastal Carolina track and field team are split into two different groups this weekend as some have traveled to Raliegh, North Carolina for the Raleigh Relays and others have gone to Gainesville, Florida for the Florida Relays.
Florida Relays
Long jumper
Erik Eckleben took home a top ten finish in Gainesville on Friday afternoon. The redshirt junior was able to finish seventh overall with a distance of 7.32 meters on his third attempt of the day.
On the track, sophomore Eleni Frommann competed in the 100 meters as the sophomore finished her day with time of 12.49 (-1.3).

Kahlim Denmark ran the 100 meters for the men and the sprinter ended the race in at 10.71 (-1.3).
Tre Stanley finished of the day for the Chanticleers as the graduate student competed in the 400 hurdles at a pace of 54.16.
On Thursday, senior
Kieran Moore placed in the top 20 of the men's hammer throw, coming in at 16
th overall with a throw of 51.27.
Raleigh Relays
The men and women distance runners took their place in the North Carolina on Friday and notably, sophomore
Nadeel Wildschutt finished 33 of 146 runners in the 5000 meters with a time of 14.11.28. In the seventh section, the Ceres, South Africa native finished in first with a new school record that was set in 2004 by Terah Kipchiris (14.22.30).
Andrew Southard ran a personal best in the 1500 meters as the junior finished 59 of 119 runners in the and a time of 3:55.26.
Also in the 1500 meters, for the women,
Alyssa LeClaire finished Friday at a 4:45.05 pace.
The team will be in action on Saturday to finish up their respective final days of the Raleigh and Florida Relays.
