Opening Tip
• The Chants enter the game going 1-1 in its final regular season road SBC trip.
• CCU put up a season-high 97 points in the shootout win at Louisiana-Monroe.
• The win evened CCU's conference mark at 8-8 and they are now tied for fifth place in the conference.
• A lot of pressure on the Chants in its final two games of the regular season ... Wins in both games will assure them of a top-six finish in the conference standings and a move directly to New Orleans for the Sun Belt Tournament ... A loss could put them in a first round game at a campus site.
• This is the eighth meeting in the series with USA with the Chants holding a slim 4-3 lead in the series.
• Earlier this season the Chants traveled to Mobile where the Jaguars won an exciting double overtime win over CCU 84-77.
• Freshman DeVante Jones is coming off the best two-game stretch of his young career ... He had a team-high 19 points at Louisiana and turned around with a game and career-high 30 points in the ULM win.
• Zac Cuthbertson continues his push for 1,000 career points ... He enters the last two games of the season needing 37 points to reach the milestone.
• Should he reach 1,000 points, he would become the 22nd player in CCU history to reach the milestone.
• Even more impressive, he would become only the third person to score 1,000 points in just two years ... Howard White (1974-76) scored 1,321 points and Manuel Jessup (1976-78) scored 1,124.
• CCU will host Troy in its final regular season game of the season ... The Saturday match up will tip off at 2 p.m.
• The game will also be Senior Day as the Chants four seniors, Zac Cuthbertson, Matt Lindsey, Josh Coleman and Ajay Sanders will be honored before the game.

• USA is coming off what may have been their best game of the season ... A 77-63 win over first-place Texas State.
