Conway, S.C. – No. 24 Coastal Carolina baseball will return to Sun Belt Conference play this weekend at Little Rock. The schedule has already been altered due to the forecast of inclement weather over the weekend in Little Rock, Ark. and will kick off with a doubleheader on Friday with game one set for a 3 p.m. ET/2 p.m. CT. Game two will begin approximately 45 minutes after the conclusion of game one.
The series finale is scheduled for Noon ET/11 a.m. ET on Sunday afternoon.

- Coastal leads the Sun Belt in a number of statistical categories this season - batting average (.304), slugging percentage (.486), on-base percentage (.415), runs scored (276), hits (374), RBIs (258), home runs (45), total bases (597), sacrifice flies (22), batters struck out (329), batters struck out looking (117) and win (23).
- Let's play two! Due to the forecast of inclement weather, the Chants and Trojans are now scheduled to play a doubleheader on Friday to open up the series. Coastal is 4-2 this season over three doubleheaders having swept both games of the twin bill versus Michigan State (Feb. 22) and winning the first of two in each of the twin tilts versus Arkansas State (March 30) and at South Alabama (April 6).
- Coastal Carolina is a perfect 3-0 all-time versus Little Rock. The two teams met for the first time last year in a three-game conference series with the Chants sweeping the Trojans at Springs Brooks Stadium. CCU defeated Little Rock 4-0, 6-4 and 1-0 for the sweep.
- The Chanticleers hit a total of four home runs last time out in a 7-6 road win at No. 2 NC State. Four different Chants recorded a home run in the win - Jake Wright (1st inning), Zach Biermann (4th), Kieton Rivers (5th) and Parker Chavers (9th). Coastal has hit a total of 12 home runs over their last four games.
- Coastal has recorded a total of five, five-plus RBI games this season by four different players. Jake Wright has driven five or more RBIs twice this season, both of which came in wins at ULM, while Kieton Rivers, Parker Chavers, and Kyle Skeels have all registered five RBIs or more in a game this season.
- CCU is 5-2 this season when its starter goes 6.0-complete innings or more on the mound. The wins came in the game one 13-0 win over Michigan State (Feb. 22), in the 5-2 win versus Washington (March 9) at the Seattle Baseball Showcase, in the 13-3 series-opening win at ULM (March 15), in the 9-2 midweek home win versus UNCW (March 27) and in the 6-0 win over Arkansas State (March 30) in game two of the doubleheader. The two losses came in back-to-back nights at Illinois (April 2-3) by scores of 4-2 and 4-1.
- Coastal is 7-6 this season in true road games with five of those road wins coming in conference play. CCU has a road win at UNCW (Feb. 19), three at ULM (March 15-17), two at South Alabama (April 6-7) and one this week at No. 2 NC State (April 10).
- CCU's offense enters play this weekend with eight different players hitting over .300 on the season. Kieton Rivers leads the way hitting a team-high .378, while Dallas Callahan (.353), Scott McKeon (.350) and Cameron Pearcey (.350) are all hitting .350 or better on the year. Parker Chavers (.336), Kyle Skeels (.313) and Cory Wood (.313) are also hitting over .300 on the season entering play this weekend.
- This season, the Chants are averaging 9.4 strikeouts per nine innings this season. A total of 10 different pitchers have fanned more batters than then innings pitched on the year, while the Chants also lead the Sun Belt in batters struck out with 329 overall on the season.
- Coastal Carolina's pitching staff has struck out double-digit hitters in 18 different games this season, including a season-high 14 punch-outs versus Troy (March 22) and at No. 2 NC State (April 10) in midweek action this week. CCU also posted 13 Ks in back-to-back wins over Indiana (March 3) and Wake Forest (March 5).

- The Chanticleers will return home after the nine-game road swing to host the College of Charleston on Tuesday, April 16, at 6 p.m. ET. CCU will continue its home-stand with a conference weekend series versus Georgia Southern on Thursday, Friday and Saturday, April 18-20 at Springs Brooks Stadium.
