CONWAY – The Coastal Carolina women's soccer team will travel to the state of North Carolina to take on coastal rival UNCW, Thursday, Aug. 29, followed by Sunday's jaunt to former Big South rival Campbell on Sept. 1.

The Camels defeated the Chanticleers in each of the last two meetings to take a 6-5-1 overall series lead. Coastal's last victory (2-0) against Campbell came back on Oct. 15, 2014.

UNCW won a pair of matches at the Charleston Under Armour Invitational to open the young season at 2-0. On Sunday, Aug. 25, the Seahawks defeated Stephen F. Austin 3-0 as Nanni Brace led the offensive attack with two of the three goals.
The Camels currently sit at 0-0-1 after a 3-3 tie against the Spartans of UNCG in their season opener. Campbell will take on Furman (Thursday, Aug. 29) before hosting the Chanticleers on Sunday, Sep. 1. CU got tallies from Parker Ormsby, Alexa Genas, and Katie Lockwood while Reaghan Duval totaled eight saves in her first collegiate start in the draw with UNCG.
