CONWAY – The Coastal Carolina women's golf team finished the second round of the 46
th annual Lady Paladin Invitational in eighth place after shooting a 16-over 304 during today's second day of action. The Chants entered the round tied for eighth, but will head into tomorrow's round alone in eighth.

Sophia Carlsen had struggled during yesterday's first round, but turned that around today to shoot a one-over 73. She started the day scoring a one-under on the opening nine holes and finished shooting two-over on the back nine for her final 73. She has a two-day total of 154 and will enter tomorrow's final day of action in tied for 43
rd.

Jenjira Jinangkul had another solid outing. She finished the day with a two-over 74 after shooting a 37 on both the front and back nine. With her even-par 72 yesterday, she is the team leader heading into Sunday's action with a 146, which has her tied for 14
th.

Caitlin Evans-Brand and
Tiffany Arafi had up-and-down rounds during the second day of action. Evans-Brand finished the day with a six-over 78 after carding a 38-40 and Arafi shot a seven-over 79 following her 39-40 round.

Evans-Brand has a two-day total of 150 and is tied for 25th while Arafi's 155 has her tied for 47
th.

Alexandra Naumvoski is playing as an individual this weekend and she finished her day with an eight-over 80 after shooting a 42-38. She is tied for 66th.
Heidrun Hylnsdottir shot a 41-41 to finish with an 82. Her two-round total is 162 and has her tied for 81st heading into tomorrow's action.

CCU's two-day total of 604 (300-304) is only six shots behind Daytona State and South Florida (598) for sixth place and eight shots back of UNC Wilmington (593)for fifth.

Wake Forest continues its lead after today's 289. They continue to be the lone team under par with their one-under 575. Furman continues to hold down second place with an eight-over 584 while North Florida is third at 16-over (592).
