Game Notes
CONWAY – The Coastal Carolina University men's basketball team will continue its current road swing through the state of Arkansas with a Saturday, Feb. 1 game at Arkansas State slated to get underway at 5 p.m.
Â
The Chants (11-11/4-7 Sun Belt) are looking to end a four-game losing streak against the Redwolves (15-8/7-5 Sun Belt) who enter the game in fourth place in the conference.
Â
CCU will be looking to turn the tables on the hosts as A-State defeated CCU in Conway just two weeks ago 80-75.
Â
The series is still a young series in which the Chants own a slim 4-3 lead in the series. CCU is 2-1 in Jonesboro including last year's 77-64 road win.
Â
DeVante' Jones is back to lead the Chants after scoring a career-tying 32 points in CCU's loss at Little Rock. The Chants coaching staff hopes freshman
Tim Ceaser can build on his career-high at Little Rock when he set career-highs in points (19), rebounds (8) and assists (3).
Â
Arkansas State brings a balanced scoring attack into the game with four players averaging over 10 points per game led by Marquis Eaton's 11.3 points per game. Other double-digit scorers are Caleb Fields (10.8), Melo Eggleston (10.6) and Canberk Kus (10.3).

Both games can be heard live on WRNN 99.5 FM with links for the video feed and live stats available online at GoCCUsports.com.
