CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's soccer team will host Georgia State Sunday, Oct. 11 at noon ET at the CCU Soccer Stadium.
 
First place in the East Division is up for grabs as Coastal Carolina is tied atop the division with South Alabama at 4-1. Georgia State is not far behind with a conference record of 4-1-1 (5-1-1 overall).
 
The two teams are the hottest teams in the division as CCU has won three consecutive contests and the Panthers have won their past two.
 
The Chants have been impressive so far this season, especially on the defensive side of the pitch. Sophomore goalie Ky Hudson has been outstanding in goal for CCU and has three consecutive shutouts. She has not given up a goal in 289 minutes which includes a 109 minute-double overtime win over Appalachian State.
 
She has only allowed six goals this season and has a 1.15 goals-against average, a .813 save percentage and 26 saves. She is coming off a season and career-high nine saves in CCU's win at Georgia Southern.
 
Offensively CCU has had 15 different players find the points's column via goal or assist. Megan Brouse leads the way with seven points on three goals and an assist while Loranna Austin has six points on three goals.
 
The Chants have been precise with their shots this season as 62 percent of their 50 shots have been on goal. They have made 13 goals for a .260 shot percentage.
