CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's soccer team will hit the road to face Appalachian State, Sunday, Oct. 25 at noon ET in Boone, N.C.
The Chanticleers (5-3 / 5-3 SBC) enter the game coming just one game out of first in the East Division. CCU fell 1-0 at Troy in its' last outing, a win that would have pushed them into first-place in the division. Now with only two games left before the Sun Belt Conference Tournament, the Chants still have a chance to work themselves into a higher seed once the tournament begins.
Appalachian State (3-8-1 / 3-6 SBC) enters the action fourth in the East Division. Earlier this season in Conway, the Chanticleers pulled out a 1-0 double-overtime win when

Mackenzie Gibbs assist with just under a minute left in the second overtime period.
Loranna Austin is the team's leading scorer with nine points on four goals and one assist.
Megan Brouse (7 pts.) and Gibbs (6 pts.) are right behind Austin in scoring.
Ky Hudson has been solid in goal for the Chants this season. She has picked up three shutouts and has 49 saves while sporting a .831 save percentage.
