Women's Golf Travels to the Upstate for Terrier Invite

CONWAY – The Coastal Carolina University women's golf team will make the trip to the upstate area where they will play in the Terrier Invitational hosted by Wofford College.
The two-day event is scheduled for Oct. 26-27 at the Country Club of Spartanburg. The course is laid out as a par-72, 6,012 yard course. The field will include players from The Citadel, East Tennessee State, Chattanooga, and host Wofford. CCU will also join fellow Sun Belt member Appalachian State in the event.
The Chants will once again only have three players participate in the event. Frantiska Lunackova will lead the trio and is coming off a solid 10th-place finish at the Callaway Gardens Invitational last week. The highlight of her tournament was the two-under 69 she shot on the final day of competition.
Sophia Carlsen will also make her second appearance this fall. She finished tied for 28th with her three-day total of 224 at the Callaway Gardens Invitational last week.
Making her CCU debut will be freshman Maika Llarena. The freshman is from Puebla, Mexico and brings a wealth of international experience to the Chants.
