CONWAY, S.C. – Coastal Carolina's women's basketball season opener scheduled for this Wednesday, Nov. 25, against USC Aiken at home in the HTC Center has been canceled due to positive COVID-19 tests within the USC Aiken women's basketball program.

The Chanticleers will now open the 2020-21 season on Saturday, Nov. 28, as they host South Carolina State at 1 p.m. ET.  Coastal Carolina is coming off of its best season after finishing 25-4 overall and 15-3 in the Sun Belt Conference.

That game will be part of a season-opening doubleheader as the Coastal Carolina men's basketball team will host N.C. Wesleyan with tip-off set for 4 p.m. ET.

The Coastal Carolina women's basketball game will be broadcast on the Chanticleer Radio Network on 105.5 Hank FM and also broadcast online on ESPN+.
