CONWAY, S.C. – With just 0:25 seconds left on the clock, Little Rock's Abril Lucio notched the Trojans' second goal of the night to hand the Coastal Carolina women's soccer team a 2-1 loss on Senior Night at the CCU Soccer Stadium. 
 
Prior to the match, the women's soccer program recognized four-year seniors 
Loranna Austin and 
Mackenzie Cherry.
 
With the loss, the Chanticleers drop to 5-8-2 overall and 3-5-1 in Sun Belt action, while the Trojans improve to 7-6-4 overall and 3-3-3 in conference play. 
 
The first half was quiet, seeing just seven shots between the two squads, but neither team was able to find the back of the net and headed into the locker room locked at 0-0.
 
Little Rock struck first in the 70th minute, Abril Lucio's shot was blocked before Julia Edholm played the rebound to put the visitors up 1-0. Just nine minutes later, CCU's 
Sarah Allen tallied her fourth goal of the season on a cross from 
Austin tying the contest at 1-all.
 
As the seconds ticked down to the end of regulation, Little Rock found the advantage as Lucio tallied her second goal of the season off a pass from Jana Heinen in the 90th minute. 
The Trojans ended the night with an 11-9 shooting advantage, while both teams tallied five shots on frame. 
Megan Brouse finished with a team-leading three shots, while 
Allen recorded two shots, both of which were on goal. CCU found the advantage in corner kicks 11-2, while the visitors found the edge in saves at 4-3. 
 
Coastal Carolina now gets set for its final regular-season match as the Chants will welcome Arkansas State to Conway on Sunday afternoon. The kickoff is set for Noon E.T. from the CCU Soccer Stadium.
