CARY, N.C. – The Coastal Carolina men's tennis team's run at the ITA Carolina Regional Championships hosted by Duke University in Cary, N.C. came to an end in the round of 16 in both the singles and doubles main draws on Sunday.
Graduate student
Bastien Huon suffered a setback against No. 11-seeded Andrew Zhang of Duke, falling in straight sets by a similar score of 6-3 in the round of 16 in the Main Singles draw.
In doubles play, the pairing of
Federico Garnier and
Diego Giraldo was defeated by the NC State duo of Yannai Barkai and Luca Staeheli 1-6, 6-3 (12-10) in the round of 16 of the Main Doubles draw.
The Chants will be back in action next weekend, as they will compete at the UNCW Team Invite on Oct. 29-31.
