CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's volleyball team (16-8, 10-4 SBC) will look to close out the 2021 regular season on a high note, as the Chanticleers will take on the Appalachian State Mountaineers (7-19, 3-11 SBC) twice over a four-day span this week.

WEEKEND SCHEDULE
at Appalachian State, Thursday, Nov. 11 – 5 p.m. ET (ESPN+)
vs. Appalachian State, Sunday, Nov. 14 – 1 p.m. ET (ESPN+)

BACK-TO-BACK VERSUS APP
CCU and App State will play each other twice this week, playing back-to-back Sun Belt Conference matches in Boone, N.C. on Thursday (Nov. 11) and at home in Conway, S.C. on Sunday (Nov. 14).
 
SERIES HISTORY VERSUS APPALACHIAN STATE
The Chanticleers are 14-5 all-time versus the Mountaineers and have each of the last seven meetings between the two teams.
 
LAST TIME OUT
The Chanticleers split two home matches with the schools from the state of Georgia last weekend, falling to Georgia Southern 3-2 on Friday (Nov. 5) and bouncing back to sweep Georgia State 3-0 on Sunday (Nov. 7).
 
SENIOR DAY IS SET FOR NOV. 14
The Coastal Carolina volleyball program will hold the 2021 Senior Day on Sunday, Nov. 14, prior to the match versus Appalachian State at 1 p.m. at the HTC Center.
 
Prior to the start of the match, the Chanticleers will recognize super senior Ani Bozdeva and graduate transfers Doris Carter and Cheyenne Jones who are all playing their final season.
 
HOME COURT DOMINANCE
Coastal has been dominant at home inside the HTC Center this season, as the Chants are 11-2 at home at the HTC Center this year.
 
Since joining the Sun Belt in 2016, the Chants have gone 48-8 at home inside the HTC Center.

Junior setter Brigitta Petrenko has been on point behind the service line again this season, as she leads the conference in both service aces (44) and services aces per set (0.50), which both rank 12th and 13th nationally, respectively.
