Women’s Tennis to Host Charleston Southern on Sunday

Conway, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team will host an afternoon dual against regional opponent Charleston Southern on Sunday, Feb. 21, with the first serve scheduled for Noon from the Stevens Tennis Complex.
On the court, Coastal and Charleston Southern are no strangers to one another as they have met 35 times overall. The Chants hold a commanding 23-12 advantage in the series as Coastal blanked the Buccaneers 7-0 last season on Feb. 15, 2020, in Conway, S.C.
The Chanticleers enter the contest with a 1-2 overall record. Last time out, the Chants opened up the 2021 home slate with a come-from-behind win against UNCW 4-3.
Charleston Southern enters the meeting with a 1-2 record on the year after edging Sun Belt Conference member Georgia Southern 4-3 on Jan. 23.
