Troy, Ala. – The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team got back to their winning ways on Sunday with a 4-0 Sun Belt Conference win over Troy on Sunday afternoon in Troy, Ala.

Coastal opened the match scoring by picking up wins at the top two doubles positions by an identical score of 6-2 to take the doubles point and an early 1-0 match lead.

Freshman Mathilde Tranberg picked up a 6-4, 6-1 straight-set win over Anastasii Khokhlova at No. 2 to extend the Chants' lead out to 2-0 in the match.

Fellow freshman Jesse Hollins would continue her singles win streak with an identical score of Tranberg at 6-4, 6-1 over Kristina Kukaras to give the Chants the 3-0 advantage in the match.

Sophomore Victoire De Samucewicz would clinch the match for the Chants with a 6-2, 6-3 straight-set win over Michelle Ncube at No. 4.

The Chanticleers (7-3) will head home to the Lynn Stevens Tennis Complex to face Sun Belt Conference member Appalachian State on Sunday, March 21, with first serve scheduled for 10 a.m. ET.
