Women’s Tennis to Host Appalachian State on Saturday

Conway, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team will host an afternoon dual against Sun Belt Conference member Appalachian State on Saturday, March. 20, with the first serve scheduled for 1 p.m. ET from the Stevens Tennis Complex.
Fans will be allowed.
Health and safety protocols for attendance will remain in place to include, but not limited to:
The Chanticleers enter the contest with a 7-3 overall record. Last time out, the Chants split a weekend conference dual falling to South Alabama 4-1 and sweeping Troy 4-0 in Alabama.
Freshman Jesse Hollins leads the Chants with eight consecutive singles match wins heading into action this weekend and leads the conference in singles wins, while sophomore Victoire De Samucewicz is on a four-match winning streak of her own.
The Chants hold a slim 2-1 advantage over the Mountaineers as conference rivals since joining the Sun Belt in 2016-17.
Appalachian State enters the meeting with a 3-7 record on the year after playing at Troy and South Alabama last weekend.
