CONWAY, S.C. - The Coastal Carolina men's tennis team will return to the Stevens Tennis Complex this week for a match against regional opponent Campbell on Thursday, April 1 with a first serve scheduled for 3 p.m. ET.
Fans will be allowed.
Health and safety protocols for attendance will remain in place to include, but not limited to:
- Face coverings WILL BE required.
- Maintain physical and social distancing at all times.
- NO congregating between individuals or groups outside of your affiliated party.
- NO interaction with student-athletes and coaches at any time.
Coastal Carolina University and the Department of Athletics is committed to providing a safe environment for the enjoyment of our patrons that attend our home intercollegiate athletic events. Individuals that disregard health and safety protocols may be asked to leave.
The Chanticleers enter the matchup with a 4-4 overall record. The Chants are coming off back-to back setbacks on the road versus Georgia State and at Elon.
The Chants are led by fifth-year senior
Bastien Huon who is nationally-ranked No. 109 this week with a 6-2 overall record at No. 1 singles. The doubles pair of
Pyry Hyrokennen and
Diego Giraldo also entered the week ranked by the ITA tennis poll and come in at No. 65 this week. The pair are on a three-match winning streak of their own in doubles play.
Campbell enters the meeting with an 0-9 record on the year.
Coastal and Campbell have met 25 times in men's tennis action. The Camels hold a slim 13-12 advantage against the Chants and have won the last two meetings by a similar score of 6-1.
