Women’s Tennis to Play a Pair of Road Matches this Week

CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina women's tennis team will hit the road for a pair of matches this week in North Carolina, as the Chanticleers will take on N.C. Central on Tuesday, April 6, at 12:30 p.m. ET in Durham, N.C., and then head west to battle Appalachian State on Wednesday, April 7, at 11 a.m. ET in Boone, N.C.
The Chanticleers enter the week with an 11-5 overall record and 6-3 SBC record. The Chants are coming off a 4-0 sweep against Sun Belt Conference member Troy on April 4.
Freshmen Jesse Hollins leads the Chants with a 10-3 singles record heading into action this week, while senior Somer Dalla-Bona and sophomore Victoire De Samucewicz have eight singles wins apiece.
N.C. Central enters the meeting with a 3-9 record on the year and is coming off a 6-1 setback against S.C. State on April 3.
Appalachian State is 5-11 and 4-5 in Sun Belt play. Coastal defeated the Mountaineers 6-1 in conference play back on March 20 in Conway, S.C.
