Women's Soccer Ends Preseason Work at Winthrop

CONWAY, S.C. – The Coastal Carolina University women's soccer team will bring its preseason work to an end with the Chanticleers final exhibition match of the season at Winthrop, on Wednesday, Aug. 11 at 7 p.m. ET.
The exhibition will be the second of the preseason for the Chanticleers after falling at North Carolina State 3-1 last Saturday. The Chants were able to play 20 players in the match, with several of those seeing action for the first time in a CCU uniform.
The Chants will begin regular-season action with three consecutive home matches beginning with Charleston Southern on Thursday, Aug. 19 at 7 p.m. ET.
